What is Crystal Therapy?

From as far back as the days of the legendary lost city of Atlantis, through the ancient Mayan and Hebrew civilizations and including Far Eastern and Native American cultures, crystals and gemstones have been used both in spiritual rituals and as aids to physical healing. Crystal healing is based on the theory that individual crystals, gemstones and minerals have a certain frequency of energy and that by placing a crystal within the energy field of a person will influence the way that energy field behaves. Illness is seen as incorrectly flowing or blocked energy. The correct crystal or combination of crystals will remedy the blockage leading to the correct flow of energy and a cessation of illness.

What will happen during an appointment?

During a Crystal Therapy treatment crystals are arranged on or around the client in specific layouts or configurations. The crystals used during the treatment will depend on the clients individual needs as determined in the treatment plan. Crystal Therapy treatments generally last for 60 minutes, although sometimes longer a treatment will be required depending on the individual need of the client. Your first appointment will usually last around 90 minutes as it will include a comprehensive consultation which will cover lifestyle, medication and medical history to establish your current state of health and determine how treatment will proceed. You may feel heat, cold or tingling sensations during the treatment.
